Share the person's name, venue and expected return time with someone you trust, then let them know when you are home.

Use transport you control, a trusted ride service or a lift from someone you know. Do not rely on a new connection for your journey home.
Stay aware
Keep within your limits with alcohol or other substances. Leave if anyone pressures you or makes you feel unsafe.

Keep your phone, wallet and bag with you. Ask venue staff, call a friend or contact emergency services if you need immediate help.
